Equal Voice is a resource, which may be used to enhance teaching and learning for all schools and learning environments. Our programme also fulfils the essential criteria for PSHE and Citizenship curriculum, as well as the 'Speaking and listening' requirements for English and Drama.
- Mark The Mood begins with a presentation of behaviour types in the school assembly and then all pupils are given a questionnaire* and asked to identify the behaviour they would most like to change in their class. The results are then fed back to the staff and used to focus the workshop sessions. All classes will have a workshop, which will be observed by the class teacher.
- INSET twilight sessions are provided to introduce Equal Voice to teachers and discuss areas of concern and focus for teachers.
- Support and Consultation for staff (as required by school)
- Tailored packages that focus on specific school objectives eg. bullying, exclusion prevention, peer mediation and anger management.
- Focused Sessional Work: practical workshops with pupils run by Equal Voice facilitators, observed by teachers.
"I can't praise the work of Equal Voice too highly. Their approach supports the citizenship skills. ...vital if the school is to work as a learning community. Their work in improving the emotional literacy of pupils is unparalleled and has moved our school forward considerably.
