Equal Voice has found that many children moving from life at home to the nursery find this a difficult change. Early Start, our Foundation Stage project, aims to help children cope with the change and become part of a group.
The project focuses on:
- healthy group work
- social and emotional skills
- helping children with English as an additional language
- supporting children with Special Educational Needs
- managing behaviour
- involving parents and carers in their children’s lives at school
- training teachers to carry on the work as a constant resource
